License Activation on FPGA without EEPROM
Dear SiTCP Support Team,
I have purchased a license for your SiTCP product and I am preparing to integrate it into my project.
My hardware platform is an FPGA board which does not have a dedicated EEPROM chip. I understand that the license key is typically stored in an external EEPROM.
Could you please provide guidance on how to use the license without an EEPROM? Is there an alternative method, such as embedding the license information directly into the VHDL/Verilog code as a ROM or using another mechanism?
Any information or alternative procedures you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Sheng

Dear Sheng,
I apologize for the delayed response.
As you understand, license information is typically stored in the EEPROM.
If no EEPROM is present, we can provide a netlist with the license embedded.
However, it cannot save all settings, including the IP address and port number.
Modifying the wrapper file will be necessary, but the IP address and port number can be configured via SiTCP's input port.
Please note that if you prefer the netlist format, an additional fee for creating the EDIF file will apply.
Thank you
